Mr. Suleman Shah

Mr. Suleman Shah joined his duties as Director (Program) (BPS-19) at the National Commission on the Status of Women, Islamabad in April, 2016. Mr. Suleman Shah was performing his duties previously as Deputy Director (BPS-18) in Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, & National Heritage, Government of Pakistan Islamabad from November, 2014 to March, 2016. Prior to this, he has served in various ministries and divisions for the Government of Pakistan, in different positions.
Mr. Suleman Shah has attended various professional courses during his service including E-Filling Module of E-Office Application Suite, Theory & Practice of Government Servants (E&D) Rules; Strategic Communication and Cultural Diplomacy, etc.
He has also written various Research papers on History, Art and Archeology (Rock Engravings discovered at Panar Village, Distt Swat, KPK; Buddhist Art & its Paksitani Origin; New Discoveries of Buddhist Engraving from Ghaligai hill to name a few. Currently he is a PhD scholar at Quaid-e-Azam University.
He also has a wide international exposure of United Kingdom (UK), Thailand, Turkmenistan (C. Asia), United Arab Emirates.

Women rights activists from across the country participated in a one-day Women Human Rights Defenders Congress on Tuesday, which was hosted by the Potohar Organisation for Development Advocacy (Poda) in collaboration with the European Union Delegation to Pakistan and UN-Women.
