Technical investment under ADB/ CIDA TA 4602-PK ‘Institutional Strengthening of the NCSW’ aims to strengthen the NCSW by taking the following initiatives:
1. Undertaking gender related research on topics identified by the Commission for informed decision making in key sectors of Health, Education, Governance and Law, including reviews of PPO 2002 and Women’s Protection Bill 2006, and subsequent formulation of recommendations for Social and Political Empowerment of women through changes in policies or legislations.
2. To enhance Political Participation of women by sensitizing the Leadership of Political Parties by conducting 4 Provincial and One National Political Dialogue.
3. To establish Resource Center for setting up a database for information exchange and communication on women related issues for provision of support to Policy makers, academia, researchers, students, politicians and public at large.
